Born July 11, 1897, in Dubois, Pa. Clearfield County, he was the son of Alfred and Hanna (Miller) Zeigler. He was a resident of Dayton for 48 years and was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 20 years. he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Catherine (Geiger) Zeigler who died August 16, 1958. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Leroy Zeigler, one brother Walter Zeigler, and one sister, Mabel (Zeigler) Fuller. Survivors include three sons, Raymond Zeigler of Indianapolis, Ind., John Zeigler of Hanover Park, Ill, and Floyd Zeigler, 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. ZEIGLER --- Friends of Harry McKinley Zeigler, 87, of Dayton, who died Tuesday, January 21, 1985, Will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Frank O. Bly Funeral Home, Dayton, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Thoburn Stull officiating. Burial will follow at the Glade Run Cemetary. Arrangements are by Frank O.
